WOE:BC Update 12
In this second article on the USAF inventory in WOE:BC, I propose the heavy hitters. The A-10 Warthog and two versions of the F-111 Aardvark. With these aircraft the player can take the fight towards the Soviets and pound the living daylights out of them.

The FAC mission is generated automatically by the game engine. Like the recon mission, I created a loadout so that the AI controlled aircraft look like they mean business (although FAC aircraft never fire a rocket or drop a bomb in the game).

Since the F-111E will only fly a single type of mission (strikes), its loadout is limited to unguided bombs.

Unlike the E-version the F-version of the F-111 can carry laser guided bombs. With its pavetack laserdesignator the F-111F can mark and destroy targets using these LGB. The F-111F has two other missions in the campaign, they can attack ships and can be deployed in tank-plinking missions (CAS), using GBU-12's to destroy enemy tanks.
Next week I'll elaborate on the last 3 aircraft types flying for the USAF in this campaign.
Happy Flying
