WOE:BC Update 11

With the default loadouts ready for the USAF fighters its perhaps time to list the aircraft, their missions and available weapons in the campaign and the different loadouts. Remember the main purpose of the loadouts is to allow the player to take off immediately without spending much time on loading all the fighers in his flight (although it sometimes better to customize the loadout) and to equip the AI planes with a standard loadout they can handle.

Since the USAF will field 9 different aircraft in this campaign I will split this report in three parts. Here are the first fighters.

Remarks

The F-15's in the campaign are primarily tasked with conquering air superiority; The main armement consists of Aim-7M and Aim-7L's. Like in real life Aim-7P are becoming available, but have not yet fully replaced the Aim-7M.

Remark

The F-4G is used exclusively in the SEAD role. You might have noticed the recon loadout, which I also implemented for the F-16 and F-15. This has to do with how the game engine generate missions in a campaign. If the engine is not able to generate a mission based on your selected missiontypes, it will automatically create a recon mission. To prevent that aircraft will fly without weapons on recon missions, I decided to add this loadout type myself. Usually the recon loadout will match one of the regular mission type loadouts so that during the campaign, when recon flights are generated by the campaign, you won't be able to tell the difference from the regular missions.
