SimHQ going down

SimHQ is going down for their planned forum upgrade. They start the upgrade tomorrow but since I won't expect many readers between today and then, I decided to wait with posting the next Black Sheep chapter. But the blog novel has already the latest chapter! So if you can't read it on SimHQ go to the black sheep blog. Don't worry, I intend to post the SimHQ version as well, besides I think I get more readers through the forums then through my blogs.

With my free Wednsdays gone, I had to rearrange my agenda. Now I fitness on Tuesday and Thursday, two days I also reserve for flight simming. Monday, Wednsday and Friday are now spent on the Foxhole. I just finished scene 17 of the story. Unfortunetaly the pace at which I can make the film is rather slow. I had hoped to do more scenes during my holiday, but I can't deny that I am working on too many things at the same time, writing novel blogs, flying in Il-2, filming the foxhole, reading books on WW2. It seems I have to less time.

Speaking of Il-2, I have been tinkering with my graphics card to obtain better visuals. Alas, a Radeon 9600 is pretty basic, so I will have to rely on my photo-shop skills to improve the images. But don't expect state of the art screenshots for Black Sheep, that will be for the Fortress Europe story line.

Concerning campaigns, I am currently flying "The Legend of Y-29", it's a rather large campaign (30 missions) and I will have to figure out how to reduce to that a manageable number of chapters. The campaign I flew before that, Fortress Okinawa, is a must-fly. I had never enjoyed fending off kamikazes so much.

I can also recommend this Il-2 movie: Deadliest Enemy of All. A very well made movie.

Anyhow enjoy reading the latest Black Sheep chapter and see you back on SimHQ when their forum is upgraded.
