WOE:BC Update 2

Today I finished the last aircraft for another NATO Ally: The Mirage 5B. Now the Belgian Air Force with its F-16A's and Mirage 5B is also included.

I downloaded several F-16 Models from Combat-Ace and Column5. They all flew around 1990 (the year the campaign is set) but I doubt that the different models flew alongside eachother. Anyhow I used the different models because together they contain the skins of all Belgian F-16 squadrons.

Below are some pics of the aircraft. These are shots that I will use as the loading screen for each appropriate model.

Florennes Air Force Base

Today I had to opportunity to visit Florennes Air Base from where the 1st squadron of the Belgian Air Force operates. the visit was part of an incentive for the customers of the company where I work. Below are some of the pictures our marketing manager took. I am not quite sure whether he is into aviation but his photography is nevertheless exellent.

The formation take off was followed by a walk around of the F-16.









After some presentations in the briefing room we watched another fighter take of.









Followed by a rare change to see the display pilot of the air force perform a demonstration for us.




























I think it was a nice day.
