That model is only available through Capun's site and since they don't release freeware models anymore I decided to use the Mi-35. It's the same model as the Mi-24 and is freely available at Combat Ace.

East German Air Force
  • Mi-8
  • Mi-35

The Su-22 serves as temporarily aircraft untill the Su-24 and Su-25 are released.
The descriptionscreens and starttext for each aircraft has been prepared too. Below is an example of such a description screen and the starttext (which is the same for all aircraft)

DATE,

After the violent suppression following the popular uprising in East-Germany, the Soviet Union has become weary of the west. When US Marines and Soviet troops at checkpoint Charlie engage in a firefight, the incident is quickly seized by the Soviets to justify an attack on West-Germany.

As Soviet troops pour across the border between West- and East Germany, NATO troops prepare to repel the attack.

Your AIRCRAFT squadron is deployed at LOCATION, helping NATO to defend Western-Europe.
Now I can tackle the next major block in campaign building: the target and terrain files. As I am on holiday the next two weeks, I will have plenty of time to study the inner workings of those files. Off course I will post here and on combat ace what I can find in these files and what for wonderfull things we can do with them.

Untill then,
Happy Flying
