Yellow Noses

Today I started my next storyline on simhq: Yellow Noses. This time I chronicle the adventures of a young German pilot fighting in France. It is based on the Schlageter 43 campaign designed by mandrill7.

I prefer the user designed campaigns in Il-2. The disadvantage of these campaigns is, that there is no much replayibility but some campaign designers deliver excellent work that provides a lot of inspiration for my stories (Festung Europe is such a campaign that I am currently flying).

If you wonder about the movie I am making: I have already filmed (or compiled or whatever you call it) 1'45. Which is roughly 2 pages of the script. I can film about 30 seconds a day so that means that it will take at least 2 months to film the rough scenes (without sound effects). I already discovered that we will have to re-record some of the audio, because filming the story in The Movies does not always match up with what I envisionned in the script.

But I haven't planned any filming for today. Today is Il-2 day: after this post I will fly some more missions in Festung Europe and I still have to finish the final chapter on the Black Sheep (the story that will follow after Yellow Noses).

Anyhow you can find the first Yellow Noses Chapter here.

Happy reading
